Along with all elementary schools across SD8, REDFISH Elementary School pre-purchased school supplies on behalf of its families for the 2023/2024 school year. The amount was set at $40 per student in the spring, in concertation with SD8 and RPAC. At this point, REDFISH Elementary School needs to recoup the $40 per student from REDFISH families.

The weather lined up perfectly for HOMEROOM 5's campout at Kokanee Creek Provincial Park this past Thursday and Friday. It was great to see so many REDFISH parents come out and support the event through the potluck on Thursday evening. BIG thanks go out to HR5 Teacher, Ms.

In collaboration with REDFISH's Indigenous Success Teacher, Naomi LEGG, Vanessa from the Indigenous Sports in Schools program paid a visit to REDFISH this past Thursday. Vanessa was joined by an Indigenous elder, named Roxanne, as a special guest.
