StrongStart BC is a free early learning program, funded by the Ministry of Education and Child Care, for pre-school children aged 0–5 years old… and their parents, grandparents, and/or caregivers. Come out to enjoy play time, free play, circle time with songs, stories, crafts, and more provided during each session!

StrongStart is a program that offers today's families an opportunity to provide their young children with problem-solving and social skills that will help them successfully manage the school years and beyond. Time spent participating in a StrongStart program is a wonderful way to begin introducing your child to your neighborhood school community.

StrongStart runs on Mondays from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the GYM at REDFISH Elementary School.

It is also offered at the following SD8 elementary schools…

South Nelson Elementary on Tuesdays from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Blewett Elementary on Wednesdays from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Rosemont Elementary on Thursdays from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Hume Elementary on Fridays from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
