REDFISH returned to the sunny slopes of WHITEWATER last week and will be back again over the next couple of weeks. Next week, REDFISH will also kick-off another set of K-3 swim lessons at the NDCC for HR1 (Mrs. Heddon / Ms.

Mrs. Sandquist and her GR2/3 HR3 students recently brought the M-Bots out of storage for some programming practice and a spin around the school.

Students from Mrs. Goggins’s HR4 (GR4/5) class and Ms. Hodgson’s HR5 (GR6/7) class recently hosted JVH for an afternoon filled with basketball action.

Ms. Hodgson’s Homeroom 5 (GR6/7) class recently curated a fantastic HISTORY FAIR for REDFISH student, parents, and guests to enjoy.

The end of January 2025 saw the return of winter to REDFISH… and oh, what a welcomed site it was as our school grounds were literally transformed overnight from frozen tundra to deep blankets of pristine powder!

We’re a month into 2025, and it’s so exciting to see snow! In schools right now, schools are offering ski trips and other opportunities for outdoor activities with great support from our bus drivers and other transportation staff who make sure children and youth get where they are going and back again safely during and after school hours.

This afternoon, the entire crew at REDFISH broke out into a ‘Great Big Buddy Read’ session. It was time well spent… fostering a love of LITERACY while building positive peer connections among REDFISH students.
