I hope this message finds you well on this somewhat dreary February night, as winter pushes back a little against what has been an unseasonable onset of spring. Here is a bit of REDFISH info as we gear up for the final three weeks of school before spring break…

SWIMMING + WATER SAFETY EDUCATION DAYS

REDFISH checked off three of its four Swimming and Water Safety Education days at the NDCC on Friday. Our final session is set for this coming Friday, March 1, 2024. Thanks again to the REDFISH staff, parent volunteers, and RPAC for their support!

T2 LEARNIG UPDATES (MyED Parent Portal)

As previously mentioned, REDFISH will be going paperless for its next set of learning updates which are scheduled to be uploaded to MyEducationBC on Friday, March 8, 2024. As we head towards and prepare for this date, please take a moment to ensure that you are able to access and log in to your MyED Parent Portal account.

Please note that we have added a MyED parent letter and a new webpage to our school website for additional information and instructions if needed. Please reach out to clerical.red@sd8.bc.ca if you are having any difficulties beyond what is covered in these resources.

REDFISH PAC EMAIL

Your REDFISH PAC (RPAC) is looking for help. Please refer to this weekend’s email from RPAC Chair, Chris Goggins, for more details. If you would like to be added to RPAC’s email list, or are interested in helping out with RPAC, please reach out to Chris directly at redfishpac@gmail.com.  

NELSON BASEBALL REGISTRATION (2024 SEASON)

Returning players who were registered with the Nelson Baseball Association in 2023 can sign up now. New players can register as of February 24, and students can find all information on the NBA website (i.e. nelsonbaseball.ca).
