Here is a little light reading from REDFISH as we head into the weekend and prepare to soak up some more sun on Saturday… 

RPAC SUPPORT (DISTRICT TRACK MEET)

A huge THANK YOU to all the REDFISH families who stepped up to put on an absolutely dialed concession stand at the district track meet at REDFISH last Friday. They knocked it out of the park! The patience, poise, and flexibility of the volunteers was ‘next level’ as they awaited the hordes of hungry athletes and families for lunch rush. Their calm, organized, and super-efficient approach was much appreciated by all who were there... 

GOODBYE, Mr. HARRY (HOMEROOM 4)

Mr. Harry Tudor, WKTEP (West Kootenay Teacher Education Program) Teacher Candidate, wrapped up his final practicum at REDFISH this afternoon. REDFISH would like to thank Mr. Harry for all his hard work with Homeroom 4… and for going above and beyond during his time at REDFISH to make such meaningful connections with staff and students. All the best! You will be missed.

DAY TRIPPERS (HOMEROOM 5)

Homeroom 5 (i.e. Ms. Hodgson’s class) broke out the bikes and pedalled to Proctor on this fine Friday. The peloton stopped at Procter General Store, Procter Village Café, and Sunshine Bay Regional Park before rolling back to REDFISH. There are definitely worse ways to fit in your Daily Physical Activity (DPA)! Thank you, as always, to the parent volunteers who rode along to make it happen.

SD8 ANNUAL BUS REGISTRATION

SD8 bus registration will remain open until June 14, 2024. All riders must REGISTER annually. Click HERE to register if you haven’t already. Bus registration applications received after the June 14, 2024 deadline will be considered only if space is available.
