LAST DAY OF CLASSES (Wednesday, June 26, 2024 | 1/2 DAY)

Please note that WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26, 2024 is the last day of school for students before they ship off for summer holidays. Please also note that Wednesday, June 26, 2024 is a HALF-DAY for students with an 11:02 AM DISMISSAL at REDFISH with buses running after-school routes THREE HOURS EARLIER than usual.

YEAR-END LEARNING UPDATES (MyEd BC Parent Portal)

Year-end learning updates (i.e. previously called report cards) will be published to the MyEd Parent Portal on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. In preparation, please carefully read through the attached letter which was sent out via email on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

BACK to the FUTURE (HR5)

Ms. Hodgson’s HOMEROOM 5 class caught a case of gold fever, hopped on a bus, and took off to Fort Steele on Wednesday morning dressed like a scene straight out of Little House on the Prairie. They had a great adventure stepping back in time for a couple of days!

BUS REGISTRATION EXTENSION (June 26, 2024)

SD8 TRANSPORATION has extended its bus registration deadline to JUNE 26, 2024. Please see the memo attached to the parent email for more details.

SUMMER READING CLUB (Nelson Public Library)

The NELSON PUBLIC LIBRARY is offering a Summer Reading Club for children aged 6 to 12 this summer. Pre-registration is required. Registration is open online between JUNE 28 and 30, 2024. Please see the poster attached to the parent email for more details.

BALFOUR COMMUNITY ‘FULL-DAY’ PRESCHOOL
