Dear REDFISH Families,

And just like that… We are already one week into the school year!

As a staff at REDFISH, we work hard and with intention to create a calm, respectful, and PEACEful (Complex Trauma Resources, 2023) school environment…

P > Predictable Routines

E > Emotional Literacy

A > Attuned Relationships

C > Calming Activities

E > Empowerment

…where students know that they are safe, cared for, known, and liked… as they grow academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.

On that point, I would like to thank all the REDFISH staff for the considerable time and energy they invested towards our school vision heading into school start-up this week. The calm and orderly atmosphere of our first week is the direct result of your efforts!

In a similar way, I would like to thank our REDFISH families for echoing and modelling these same values in your homes. If we are to have success empowering our students to become even better versions of themselves, we will need to work together.

To help keep you connected, here is some timely information to take with you into next week…

STUDENT INFORMATION VERIFICATION FORMS

STUDENT INFORMATION VERIFICATION FORMS were sent home with students today. Please take a moment over the weekend to… (1) Review both sides of the form (2) Update any missing or outdated information (3) Sign and date the form (4) Send the form back to REDFISH on Monday. Thank you!
