Dear REDFISH Families,

I wanted to reach out and connect with you as we head into our first weekend of October 2024. I hope you are doing well!

Whereas last year I sent out a weekly ‘principal’s message / blog post’ like a metronome at the end of each school week, this year I plan to send out correspondence on a less regimented schedule… and more as the need for communication arises.

While I’m writing, I might as well highlight a couple of things…

FAMILY FUN NIGHT (REDFISH X RPAC)

REDFISH, in conjunction with RPAC, has tentatively set aside Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM for a ‘Family Fun Night’ at the school. That said, your RPAC is in desperate need of support leading up to and on the evening of the event itself. With this in mind, please reach out to redfishpac@gmail.com ASAP to help ensure this event runs. 

PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES

Parent-teacher conferences will run at REDFISH on October 16 + 17, 2024. The schedule will be pushed out to REDFISH parents at some point next week. Please stay tuned.

BALFOUR KIDS CLOTHING SHARE

The ‘Balfour Kids (FREE) Clothing Share’ is once again set to run at 7741 Upper Balfour Road from 9 AM – 12 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Leading up to this event, REDFISH will have a bin out front of its main office to collect any clean fall and winter kids’ clothes in good condition up to Size 14 that you may wish to donate. Please note that the Balfour Preschool will also be hosting an open house alongside the clothing share on October 19.
