This past school week was appropriately marked by the more solemn tones of Indigenous Veterans Day on Wednesday and our school Remembrance Day Assembly on Friday. That said, while we collectively reflected on difficult themes from our nation's and world’s history, we also looked forward with hope toward a brighter future through the lenses of peacemaking and peacekeeping.

It was great to have so many parents and grandparents join us for our Remembrance Day Assembly on Friday. We were glad to welcome our SD8 School Trustee, Lenora TRENAMAN, and her husband as well.

Thank you to Mrs. SANDQUIST for all her work in laying out the foundation for our assembly. Thank you also to all the REDFISH teachers and students for their thoughtful work in preparation for what turned out to be an impactful time together.
