REDFISH Renovates

REDFISH Elementary has a newly renovated kitchen for the 2024-2025 school year thanks to the SD8 Operations team whose skills and knowledge are in much demand across the district.

The project includes upgraded electrical, plumbing, and ventilation, as well as new cabinetry, a new fridge, and a new sanitizing dishwasher.

The project was led by SD8 carpenter Pat St. Pierre and the capital project was funded through the Feeding Futures School Food Infrastructure Program (FIP), a Government of British Columbia $5 million per year province-wide program to assist boards of education with creating, improving, or expanding the delivery of food programs.

Congratulations to REDFISH on your new kitchen, and kudos to our Operations team for a job well done!
