Happy Friday, REDFISH Families!

Dear REDFISH Families,

REDFISH teed off on a fresh set of school-wide golf lessons for students in Grades 1-6 this past week. The Grade 1 students in Mrs. Heddon and Ms. Daniela’s class joined Mrs. Dehnel’s class on the practice green and driving range at the beautiful BALFOUR GOLF COURSE where they received pro tips and positive reinforcement from course staff.

It feels like the school year speeds up this time of year!  May is when 2024 grads who have applied for scholarships are going through adjudication for their awards, while others are preparing to embark on their first steps in a career, apprenticeship, job search, gap year or post-secondary educational journey. 

Glad to be able to work with this zany crew!

With the shift from winter to spring, REDFISH students seemed to have spontaneously shed multiple layers of coats and mittens and toques and sweaters… and left them scattered across the school grounds at REDFISH Elementary.

With EARTH DAY falling on Monday’s PRO-D day this year, REDFISH celebrated early by kicking off the morning with a playground + neighbourhood garbage pick-up session before breaking out into school
