Redfish Thrills and Skills!

We would love to celebrate and showcase all the wonderfully diverse skills and abilities our students have here at Redfish.  There is so much amazingness out there and we would love to see it!

Mr. Nugent is spearheading our Redfish Skills and Thrills showcase where students can share something special with all of us.  This could include any number of things such as:

magic tricks,

singing,

playing an instrument,

biking,

gymnastics,

sports,

dance,

knitting,

drawing,

comedy,

horseback riding,

building (drums, lego, blocks, modelling clay),

spelling,

sharing local history and other learning,

story telling,

movie trailer,

skateboarding,

beading,

crafting,

learning about the land,

survival skills...

and so much more...

There are important safety considerations inherent in some of the things students might want to film: parents must supervise carefully.

Keep in mind, that we have the ability to showcase so much with the use of technology.  The time lapse video feature can be a great way to share an activity over time, such as building Lego or knitting.  You can direct any technical questions to Mr. Nugent as well.

Our showcase will be shared during our Redfish Rally on Tuesday, May 26 at 9am.  Please send a message of your idea to Mr. Nugent if you plan to participate and he will approve it and send instructions for sending him the video file.  trevor.nugent-smith@sd8.bc.ca
